Heat exchanger is made of high quality steel & designed for maximum heat transfer yield. Plenums at each end are designed to allow for easy & quick cleaning. Large pipe sizes have been selected to ensure an efficient transfer of heat from fuel to the process water. Varnished to protect against corrosion. Handles most fuels up to 50% relative humidity. The proprietary Fuocomatic Automatic Fuel Feeding System is comprised of a container for surge fuel feeding and an internal feeding device complete with a reduction gear, variable speed motor for the flow of fuel and the control of the water for fire suppression safety. The separate metal base section that houses the Fuocomatic Auger Burner (Fuel Feed) System is covered with a refractory rammed lining for high temperatures and extended operation. The clear combustion space allows for an efficient transfer of heat to the water. Each model may be supplied with a support plate for the installation of oil or gas burners to provide full capacity of the generator should solid fuel become unavailable. Due to the low grate temperature of the Fuocomatic combustion system (600°C) and the combination of the staged combustion, the fuel and ash remain below fusion temperatures; thus minimizing clinkering common with high ash fuels. The ash extraction system can be fully automated and connected to an ash collection box.
